FREDERICTON, N.B.- RCMP in New Brunswick say it’s a disturbing trend…fatal crashes on the Canada Day long weekend.
Since 2009, there have been 20 deaths on New Brunswick roads during holiday weekends.
Two people were killed over the Canada Day weekend last year.
Police are urging drivers to be extra cautious, wear seatbelts and refrain from drinking and driving.
