SAINT JOHN, N.B.- We could find out later today if information contained in police search warrants in the Richard Oland murder investigation will remained sealed for another six months.

A full hearing has been scheduled for today to hear arguments surrounding the request by Saint John Police to keep the documents sealed.

A number of media outlets are seeking to have the documents released.

A judge granted a temporary extension of the sealing order earlier this month pending today’s hearing.

The 69 year old well known Saint John businessman was found dead in his uptown office on July 7th of last year.

Police have said very little about their investigation only that the death was a homicide and they believe Oland knew his killer.
