FREDERICTON, N.B.- The executive director of BullyingCanada is casting aside criticism over his handling of a pair of bullying investigations.

School District 14 slammed Rob Frenette yesterday, saying he was expecting results too soon in a probe of an alleged incident at a Woodstock school.

NB Power also says they have found no validity to Frenette’s previous claims that the utility has had up to five hundred complaints of bullying in the workplace.

Speaking on The Todd Veinotte Show, Frenette says he disagrees with NB Power’s figures showing 8-to-10 complaints per year. “When it was peak,I mean this issue has been ongoing since last September so we’re over a year of complaints”, says Frenette. “These aren’t unique cases…this could be the individual calling back three or four times making complaints…to the tune of 486 calls”.

Frenette says Department of Education officials are now looking into the Woodstock case.

He says he won’t comment further until they contact him.
