MONCTON, NB–Football fans in Moncton won’t be getting a Touchdown Atlantic game in the Hub City this year, but there’s always 2013.  Mayor George Leblanc is confident that will happen.

Leblanc says in the meantime, preparations are underway for the CFL’s 100th anniversary, and Moncton is going to play a part in the celebrations.

Leblanc says, “The CFL will be treating Moncton in the same fashion as they treat a city that owns a CFL team.”

The Mayor wouldn’t give any specifics, but he expects it will be an exciting event..
