FREDERICTON, NB – Today is New Brunswick’s second annual ‘Anti-Bullying Day.’
Anti-bullying activist Rob Frenette says a number of schools in the province will mark the day.
“Approximately 350 schools taking part in New Brunswick will be wearing blue in support of the anti-bullying awareness ribbon and 75,000 students will be involved,” notes Frenette.
Premier David Alward will be among several speakers at a news conference today in Fredericton.
Alward announced last week that the province is working towards creating new legislation to address bullying in schools.
